Emerald · Di-hexagonal

Muzo, Western Emerald Belt, Boyacá, Colombia

The emerald crystals of a significant size are not common, especially such interesting habits like this di-hegaxonal prism. The specimen shows a light green color and a complex pinacoidal termination with a few internal flaws and smoked calcite inclusions. On the bottom, there is another emerald crystal, diagonally oriented. It's clearly visible its pinacoidal face.
